Show Notes

Today's special guest on Attendance Bias is Phish lyricist and Co-Founder of Osiris Media, Tom Marshall. Tom chose to discuss the 35-minute version of "David Bowie" from December 29, 1994 at the Providence Civic Center, in Providence, RI

Most of us know Tom for his lyrics, and there's plenty of information out there about Tom as a lyricist--he has been very open about his relationship with Phish, his lyrics, and more on his podcast, Under the Scales, which has now morphed into a new podcast called Undermine...but we'll get to that later.

Since Tom has already said plenty about his lyrics, I wanted to hear more about his life and history as a podcaster; about Under the Scales, Undermine, and Osiris media. And of course, I wanted to know his thoughts about that incredible, all-time version of "David Bowie."

As a huge Phish fan, it was a thrill to speak with Tom. As a podcaster, it was fascinating to hear about the history of his success. I am an unabashed fan of Under the Scales, Undermine, and plenty of other Osiris Media podcasts, including Phemale-Centrics, whose host, Dawneebee, was a guest on episode 4 of Attendance Bias. I had a natural curiosity to hear about his podcasting background, So let’s join Tom Marshall to talk about podcasting, Undermine, Osiris Media, and “David Bowie” from 12/29/94 at the Providence Civic Center.
