Wow, Brian. This is VTtaboot Brian Tompkins, thinking that the buttoned up teacher came into this without doing a lot of homework. First, including lots of VT shows (Burlington, Goddard, Stowe with Santana) , the Dartmouth College (my alma mater) show, and multiple Maine shows (Augusta '10, Bangors, & Portlands), northern New England fares , or has fared, far more than you credited it here. Goddard College, quite historically important to Phish, is not close, really to ManchVegas and closer to Montpelier than Burlington, but I nitpick, sorry. The teacher's guilt vibe around Makisupa and hating drugs is a touch painful. I am quite sober, attending the Divided Sky Music on the Mountain Festival, but like Trey, forgiving of the culture that spawned and fostered Phish. That's probably more than 2¢, but anytime you want a brief chat- text me back 802-299-0266. I look forward to the next up- Coventry 20 yrs Later. 🙏
